What is missing from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933579 and its
references to fully answer your question? As you can read there, the
KB933579 version is a new package meant to address a specific Remote
Code Execution problem.

Hi Antonio,

With Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML), formerly known as the Microsoft
XML Parser, customers can build XML-based applications that follow the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XML standards. MSXML is a Component Object Model
(COM) implementation of the W3C DOM model.

You are right, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933579 is a security update
for the Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0. But usually you may update
the fixes by executing Windows Update.

If you want to learn programming with MSXML, you may start here:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms760399(VS.85).aspx

Best regards,
Samuel

Hi Antonio,

If your system does not bring MSXML 6, you should install the SDK anyway. If
you want to use MSXML in a native C++ way other than using smart pointer,
you also need to install the SDK which includes the library and a help file.
