.NET Framework - MSI Cleanup?
Asked By Edward Feustel

Which version of MSI Cleanup should I use with Windows 7 64 bit?
I copied my windows xp system over using Laplink's PC Mover, but
cannot reconfigure Office. Nor can I remove it. Evidently, msi files were
either not copied or are not used on Windows 7. I need to cleanup so I can
reinstall.
Thanks,
Ed

MSI Cleanup is just a gui wrapper around the actual functional program,
MsiZap. You'd need MsiZap from the Windows 7 SDK, in the \Bin folder, but
that is a command line tool. I have not seen a new version of the cleanup
utility for MSI 5.0.
