.NET Framework - http://vsdemo.defyallchallenges.com/

What's the deal with this page?

http://vsdemo.defyallchallenges.com/

At the bottom it says:

and start thinking about your demo ideas now!"

I've been monitoring it for months now and it's not changed at all.
Did Microsoft forget about it or something? Is the contest ongoing or
did they forget about the contest too?

They're probably waiting until the official VS.Net 2008 launch party
timeframe, which is sometime towards the end of the month if I remember
correctly.

Looks like they finally updated it. Not sure what to make of it.
Anyone know what it is? The page that was up for months use to say
there'd be a contest... I'm assuming a coding contest or possibly a
video demo contest, which are the only reasons I've been monitoring
it. Looks like there's absolutely zero content up there now... just a
few really odd UI items and short videos that I'm not sure what to
make of... and some bizzare, kindergarden-ish type of "drag our
premade clips and sounds to make your own video" UI. Surely this
can't be aimed at developers? or any over the age of 10?

I can't figure out:
- who their target audience is.
- what the site is for.
- when, where, what, who, how, and if - about the coding contest?

Am I missing something?? What's the purpose of this site and is there
or is there not a contest?

Release timeframe for SilverLight 1.1 ? .NET Framework I know this has probably been asked before, but find something. I searched silverlight.net as well. Is there any kind of ballpark release timeframe for SilverLight 1.1? I know everybody is getting excited about it, and I'm to scream it the release date is a little off. I just need a ballpark timeframe. I realize this is new, cool, powerful stuff ( the mini CRL running in the browser as such. create a little service that will check a time frame and compare it to another timeframe (start / stop time). A real-world example is as follows: Patsy would like to volunteer time at a booth this year at the fair. Her optimal timeframe to volunteer is between 1:00pm and 5:00pm and she inputs this via some 30pm 2:30pm, 3:30pm 3:30pm, 4:00pm 4:30pm, 5:30pm The first timeframe obviously won't work because it starts at 12:00pm. The last timeframe won't work because while it starts at 4:30pm it's not over until have 4 times. What is the quickest way (if any) to make sure the first timeframe satisfies one or more of the other timeframes.
