Hello all
I wish to install VB6 from Visual Stusio 6 Enterprise onto my pc, XP
Pro SP2.
When the install runs it states that Microsoft Virtual Machine for
Java must be updated on my machine. I am then told that my pc
will reboot and carry on installation. After reboot, however, I am
at the same stage and the pc continues to reboot until I exit the
installation. I assume that this is because MS no longer make the
msjvm available for download. Is there any way round this ? According
to MS the msjvm is present in XP Pro, but not in SP1 or SP2. Since my
XP Pro installation disc contained SP2 I assume that msjvm was not
there.
I have managed to download msjvm installation files, but as I asked
above, is there any way round this ?
