Does MF support USB Slave devices? If so, what dev boards support this
function. Also, are there samples on using USB samples. E.g. Read analog
inputs on uC via USB to C# WPF app ( Using as a virtual COM port ).

At this time, the only use of USB function for the .NET micro framework is
for debug and deployment. There is no direct HOST capabilities. However, GHI
has added USB host support to their EmbeddedMaster devices.

COM Interop - switching to STA Threading - how to? .NET Framework Hi I am working on a web service whose business layer has a hybrid of COM and .Net business objects. I can get the data from the .net business objects fine I have tests which prove that the COM business objects work fine when accessing them from VS's test suite. However, when I explicitly setting the threading to STA. So I figured that, when invoking any of my COM methods, I first need to switch to an STA Thread. I am struggling to know it does not work) c) Is there a more elegant ways of passing around the COM function (e.g. as a first class function). I do not know if you can pass round COM methods as first class functions! Many thanks Simon C# Discussions MyCOMDLLTypes.IMyCOMType (1) MyCOMDllTypes.IMyCOMInterface really know what error you are dealing with). That is not an uncommon requirement for COM objects. Generally you cannot change the apartment model for a thread once it is been started. The real COM rule is that you cannot change the apartment model after you have executed any COM
WPF- -a threat to WinForms? .NET Framework Here I am learning WinForms and two months into it I learn there's a WPF API that is coming out. Is this WPF out yet, and is it a threat to WinForms, in the sense that all the library routines I memorize and / or familiarize myself in WinForms will disappear in WPF? I did note in one early version of C#, the non-generic "ArrayList" was replaced and template <> based List, but that kind of change is not a big deal. If WPF makes these trivial changes I can deal with it, otherwise not. I see WPF uses some variant of XML in lieu of binary serialization, which is no biggie, but I will be bummed (I doubt it). Also is C# going to be supported in WPF? I suppose so. Any thoughts appreciated. Seems to me, as a newbie coming from a objects. Also it seems to me (intuition) that ASP.NET will be more affected by WPF, since ASP.NET seems more like a script / macro language and / or not- strongly typed
